Our mission is to cultivate a love for equestrian sports while promoting the well-being and development of both horses and riders. We strive to offer exceptional riding lessons, horse training, and events that bring the community together. Through our dedication to high-quality care and education, we aim to inspire a lifelong passion for riding and a deep bond between horse and rider. TRAIL RIDERS GROUP

A weekly Monday morning stroll on horseback around our 80-acre property. Ride amongst the cattle, enjoy the views and familiarise yourself, or reconnect with the art of riding. This ride is social, relaxed and educational.
We will run through the basics of horse care each week, learn saddling prior to our rides and run through the fundamental skill set to advance and be able to ride at a faster pace. There is no pressure or set goals, this ride is for the love of the sport.

ADULT RIDING CLUB

Our Weekly adult riding club is designed for those seeking an educational experience to enter or re connect with riding. We run through all care basics, handling, equine connection, liberty, English and western riding, trail riding and more. The class format is 30 minutes of on the ground learning followed by an hour in the saddle.
This is a safe space to learn. Our horses and trainers will support you through these classes and have you cantering out the other side with a fresh new set of skills.

Private lessons with Sophie Herd.
Sophie Herd is our general manager at Ballina Equestrian Centre. Her approach to training is gentle, strategic and she is fantastic at confidence building and refining a skill set. Sophie’s ability to connect a horse and rider is second to none! Sometimes we wonder if she harbours superpowers .. you’ll understand when you meet her. If you’re looking to learn with someone who will not only improve your riding by the minute but also make you feel like you’ve known her for years, Sophie is your cowgirl!

Megan, myself, I am the one typing, loves showjumping and have done so since I was 4 years old. If you’re looking to learn to jump, I’m your girl. Ive competed up to 1m40, worked and trained horses from youngsters to grand prix horses and ridden for some of the best riders in the world, but I also became a mum 4 years ago and now know what it feels like to start from scratch again, so don’t be shy! We can start from trot poles to cross poles and go from there.
We have a full set of jumps and fillers onsite including water trays. Happy for you to bring your own horse or ride one of mine.
COMMUNAL SOCIAL SUNDAYS

This is a ticketed free event weekly. Please sign up for free tickets to join to help us control numbers weekly.
Community social Sundays. We open our doors to our local community for a free social Sunday. Come onsite, bring your family and friends and come enjoy our space. BYO picnic, grab a rug or picnic bench and enjoy the surrounds of horses and nature. We also invite local musicians to enjoy the space; there will be a guitar and singing circle for anyone to enjoy as well as live and playlisted music.
There will be pony rides available for the children during this time for $20 but there is no pressure to partake. Your also very welcome to bring carrots or apples to feed to the herd.

We are a team who love creating the event you envision. Your child’s birthday, your staff party, your brand launch, your dog’s sister’s best friend’s wedding .. you name it, we will create it. We are not wild on pricing. These events can start from $350. Contact us to quote and assist on any event you wish to throw.
We have fire pits, social spaces, 80 acres, speakers, lighting, facilities, 19 horses, 28 cows, 3 kids (we will keep them at home or you will have no cake left). Photographers, videographers, caterers, musicians all ready to assist. We can have as little or as much input as you wish. Get in touch on the contact link to create. .
